Prayer for education, health and social care
Across England, increasing numbers of children and young people are struggling to access education, while families, schools, health services and social care teams face growing pressures. Many families caring for children with additional needs are experiencing significant financial, emotional and practical challenges.
As Christians, we believe that prayer matters. We invite individuals, churches and communities to join us in praying for children and young people, their families, and for God's kingdom to come in education, health and social care systems both locally and globally.
What we pray for
Areas that we pray for include:
Children and young people who are struggling.
Parents and carers who are carrying significant responsibilities.
Teachers, educational staff, health professionals and social care practitioners.
Schools, colleges, local authorities and organisations seeking to support vulnerable individuals.
Greater compassion, wisdom, justice and hope within our communities.
For government and leaders including those in local authorities and third sector supporters for children, young people and families
The kingdom of God to come in education, health and social care systems.
Join us to pray online
Our online prayer gatherings are open to anyone who shares a heart for children, young people, families and the professionals who support them.
We meet twice each month online to pray, encourage one another and seek God's guidance for the challenges facing education, health and social care today. Our online meetings last for around 30 minutes and links and calendar invitations are sent out to all who sign up via our online form here.
All are warmly welcome to attend. Whether you work within education, health or social care, are caring for a family member, are involved in church ministry, or simply feel called to pray, we would love you to join us.
