We know that parents supporting learners with additional needs and/or parents who are neurodivergent themselves can be at greater risk of burnout, anxiety and low mood, given the need to also navigate systems to access support for their child. The systems of support often do not fully address the impact on family.
Supporting a neurodivergent child, young person or adult can be hugely rewarding and also exhausting especially due to needing to contend for the right support. This webinar focuses on working to avoid and recognising parental burnout, managing chronic stress, building sustainable support networks and balancing advocacy with self-care.
Ideal for: Parents, carers and family members.
