Navigating School Attendance Difficulties

£10.00

Struggling with emotionally based school attendance difficulties, high anxiety, or persistent barriers to attending? This recorded webinar offers clear, compassionate guidance for families navigating the complexities of school attendance.

It’s easy to feel stuck or blamed when your child can’t manage school, but attendance difficulties often signal deeper unmet needs. In this session, we explore how to understand what’s really going on, how to talk to schools, and what support can make a difference—whether you’re early in the process or already exhausted from trying.

Led by Silja Turville, an experienced advocate for learners with additional support needs, this webinar gives you practical, honest advice drawn from years of working with families who’ve been where you are.

Helping 16-24 year olds out of education, training and the workplace

1 in 7 16-24 year olds are currently out of education, training or the workplace (NEET) and our Together programme offers flexible, specialist one to one support each week for young people to help them get unstuck and taking steps towards building their future.

We provide one to one mentoring either at home or in the community with a specialist mentor to help the young person to think about the future and start to work towards their own goals. We offer individual wellbeing coaching or therapeutic support weekly as well and meet with the young person’s family or supporters every other week too.

We accept referrals from young people, community organisations or settings, local authorities and families throughout the year.
