What to do if your 16-24 year old is out of education, training and work

£9.50

There are nearly 1 million young people aged 16-24 year out of education, training and work. Of course, this is a real challenge for the young people themselves and their families.

This group is likely to include many who are neurodivergent, struggling with their wellbeing and those who have had bad experiences in school.

We talk about how to make sense of your young person’s experiences, how to support them where they are, how to work with their nervous system and what they need and to help them grow their engagement in life generally. We will talk about the importance of using a ‘drip feed’ or ‘percolating’ approach and creating micro goals. The aim is to find small ways to make progress and to keep doing this.

We also share success stories from our work and what options there are to develop a new path for your young person as they may not step back into the path they were on before and we’ll also share why that is OK.

Come to this uplifting webinar about how to support your young person to find a way forward that is right for them.
